We had a wonderful stay at Mercure In Liverpool - from check in to check out, everything was fab! We were offered an upgraded “privilege” room if we joined the Mercure club (free by the way) and had a gorgeous 11th floor suite with an amazing view over the water. The breakfast was great, with a choice of cold and hot options, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean! The room even had a nespresso coffee machine - a huge plus for us coffee lovers!! We would not hesitate for a second to return again!
A huge shoutout to Martin who offered us our upgrade and was very polite and informative when explaining about the parking and breakfast.
My only feedback (and it’s very minor) would be that they need a clear sign from the road as to where the hotel parking is, as it was a little tricky to find! Otherwise, it was great!

Lovely crisp clean bedding. I had the accessible bathroom which I felt really safe using. Breakfast choices , something for everyone to include continental, cereal , fruit , yogurts. Traditional British also. Fresh juice choices. Yogurts appeared to be watered down though ... that was only issue. Great location

Room was great. Comfortable, lovely view over Mersey. However it was very noisy throughout the night. People coming back to their rooms and slamming doors.
Breakfast was poor. Not enough food for everyone - ran out of eggs, butter, orange juice.
Also they played the music in Reception too loud so you struggled to have a conversation.
Hotel in a good location, clean and late checkout a nice touch but probably wouldn't stay again

We stayed in the Mercury Hotel on the 18/07/2024.
The room smelt when we got to it, it was a musty smell. In the bathroom there was Mold on the tiles and ceiling, lipstick stripe mark on the inside of the door. The extraction fan was not working. And the top of the main window was just black with mold. The air conditioning unit did not cool the room at all, properly because of the dirt on the filters.
The kettle had a leak in it somewhere so if the kettle had water in it it would leak into the tray
