Comfort, great service, beautiful throughout, highly recommended. From the warm welcome to the happy goodbye, our stay was perfect. The room was tidy, cosy, and warm. The bed was clean and comfortable. The decoration had a lived-in character, and the original grandeur was very well preserved throughout the whole building. The food and service in the restaurant were both excellent. We found the bar and waiting staff to be polite, helpful, informative, and friendly at all times. The gardens were a pleasure to walk round,

Beautiful food with fabulous surroundings Ruthin Castle I had the pleasure of enjoying a delightful roast dinner at Ruthin Castle today, and it was simply perfect. The ambiance was just right, making the entire experience feel special. For just £25, we indulged in two delicious roast dinners and a bottle of wine – an incredible value for the quality and atmosphere. The surroundings added to the charm, making it a memorable meal in a truly stunning location. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience in a beautiful setting! All the staff were very friendly and very helpful.

A fabulous overnight stay with dinner and Afternoon Tea the following week. A lovely overnight stay with dinner, Lovely decor in room although bathroom dated and nowhere to hang towels! Hence 4 out of 5. Super dinner and breakfast the following morning. Everyone of the staff cheerfulwarm and welcoming

Our.allocated room was exceptionally clean and roomy with the bed extremely comfortable,however the public areas of the hotel were looking extremely tatty and in dire need of some TLC. Of course the castle is very historic with beautiful gardens but needs investment to improve the hotel.
Our first night dinner in the restaurant was average, with the onion rings almost cremated so were returned and taken off the bill. The breakfast was buffet style, with the food at best average and many, many tables left 2ish dirty dishes uncleared. The staff in all areas were extremely friendly and are clearly the best asset to the hotel.
