What is there to do in Athens?
Many of Athens’ attractions can be found atop its hills or tucked away down its side streets so break out your most comfortable shoes and get ready to explore on foot! Architectural gems are in good supply within the ancient city. The towering Acropolis, arguably the most significant ancient citadel in the Western world, is a must for any visitor. If the call of the beach proves too strong, all you have to do is travel 10 miles south of the capital for the unspoilt sandy beaches, glistening mineral lakes and majestic mountains of the Athens Riviera. Acropolis Museum Boutique Hotel - Reasonable hotel for a reasonable price Perfectly serviceable room for an eight-day solo trip tourist Athens. I ended up on the fourth (top) floor. There is a small elevator but it runs from first floor to third so you need to do a bit of stair climbing regardless, but handy after a long day's hiking around Athens.

Acropolis Museum Boutique Hotel - Wonderful Experience! We wanted a nice place to stay in downtown Athens and this was perfect. It’s within walking distance of everything, but yet quiet. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Check in was very easy. I highly recommend staying here. It’s a great location.

Plaka Hotel - Great hotel in the best location Perfect location in the best part of Athens. Everything on your doorstep. Beautiful view from the rooftop bar. Must be one of the best in Athens. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby and very handy for the metro link to the airport. Highly recommend

Plaka Hotel - The best possible stay in Athens This is one superb hotel. Reasonable prices, attentitive and personable staff, and as for location, it simply can't be beat: our room had a gorgeous view of the Acropolis by night, and the Plaka Hotel is central to most of the famous sites in the city's cultural heritage.
