Whether you’re in Beaconsfield for the day or a slightly longer stay, there are loads of things to do on your own or as a family. Bekonscot’s model village and railway is the oldest of its kind in the country and homes a colourful range of vehicles, shops and townsfolk while Odds Farm Park is home to loads of cute animals and has enough activities to keep the little ones occupied for hours. From Old MacDonald’s Farm & Fun Park to the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, there are plenty of places to meet friendly animals while Weald and Thorndon Country Park are home to great trails to walk and incredible wildlife including wild deer. Brentwood Cathedral provides one of the town’s most prominent landmarks while the Gruffalo Trail provides the perfect activity to do as a family!

One described as “up and coming”, it’s fair to say Brixton has now established itself as one of the best places to go in South London. From the iconic Electric Avenue to the Ritzy Cinema, there are loads of attractions, not to mention a huge choice of cafes and restaurants. The area still celebrates its Caribbean roots and there is music playing regularly across Brixton Market along with the intoxicating aromas of the street food, as well as the indoor village of Pop Brixton.
