Kelsey Park offers serene surroundings for morning and afternoon walks while the Croydon Road Recreation Ground has a range of sports facilities for those who want to get a game going and a cafe for those who want to watch.

Blackheath is almost a hidden treasure, with its rolling green landscapes and historic castles seldom seen in other areas around London. From Old MacDonald’s Farm & Fun Park to the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, there are plenty of places to meet friendly animals while Weald and Thorndon Country Park are home to great trails to walk and incredible wildlife including wild deer. Brentwood Cathedral provides one of the town’s most prominent landmarks while the Gruffalo Trail provides the perfect activity to do as a family!
