Lovely old mansion house hotel. Beautiful old mansion house located right on the harbor. Restored by the owners. The owner explained the history of the home. Quite interesting. The driveway is steep but there is parking at the top. Does have a great view of the harbor and the sea. It is a bit of a tug to get your luggage up the steps. We were greeted by a friendly host. There is a beautiful staircase. Please note the gorgeous stained glass window in the large stairwell. The rooms were clean and adequate. For dinner we were seated in a beautiful drawing room and after a short wait we were invited through to the dining room. We enjoyed our meal. After dinner we took a stroll down the lane along the harbor. Very picturesque. We also enjoyed breakfast in the dining room which also looks out over the harbor. We found the owner and staff to be friendly and very informative.

Love this place Worth the money, Grand place with alot of character. Pet friendly with no extra charge. Well maintained and friendly staff, clean rooms and spaces. Quite and the view is stunning. Warm and good bathrooms . Liked it so much I booked another night.

A lovely comfortable stay We've just had a 7-night stay here and really enjoyed it. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast an excellent varied offering for a hotel with only 13 rooms. The hotel itself is a lovely Victorian building, and close to the town centre.
