The hotel is a lovely place. Staff were very polite and helpful. We had a lovely stay and celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary thank you to the staff who helped us have a lovely meal and were kind. I would recommend this hotel beautiful grounds too.

Lovely place with beautiful grounds. Friendly helpful staff and nice food. Only downside was the bar was shut after our evening meal so unless we drove somewhere we only had our rooms to go to by 8.30.

This place was a bit of a surprise. You drive through an industrial area of sorts, to be greeted by a lovely hotel in it's own grounds and no site of the industrial area you've just passed through. The staff are welcoming and well organised. The package comes with continental breakfast but for £5 a head per day you can upgrade to a full English which sets you up for a day of site seeing. The evening meal is pretty much standard pub food so don't expect Michelin star stuff. The room we stayed in was small but well enough equipped with a reasonably comfortable bed. It was a hot weekend when we were there but there is air con in the room so you no problem there. There was lots of places to visit within an hour's drive so all in all it was a pleasant stay and we would definitely stay again.

We had a really nice stay at this lovely Hotel! It had been refurbished and was decorated to a good standard! The grounds were beautiful and the old church. The food was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

We were greeted by a very friendly staff member the hotel is set in lovely peaceful countryside The restaurant had a lovely choice of cuisine staff were very friendly helpful & welcoming. The hot and continental breakfast were lovely and there were so many chosen including gluten and dairy free options Had a very peaceful lovely nights sleep we will definitely be staying here again

Beautiful hotel. Lovely room, a little cold to start with but staff were very helpful and brought a further heater that had the room cosy in moments. Staff were generally lovely and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and well worth the additional £5 for a full English. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting the Cotswolds.

Really great mini getaway. Enjoyed a lot. Hotel was clean and nice. Room was small but it was fine for just sleeping in and relaxing in the evening when we returned from the Cotswolds. Breakfasts were great. You can upgrade to full cooked for £5pp per day. Worth it. We didn't stay for food in the evenings but there is not a lot around the hotel, so if you are looking to be able to have some drinks, the hotel can get taxis for you, otherwise there are bars at the hotel. We didn't use so can't say on prices for that or the dinners. About 30 to 50 min drive for areas in Cotswolds but really lovely big park for walks right next to the hotel. Enjoyed for the prices. Some said the room was cold but ours was so toasty! Really enjoyed it and a nice little staycation.

Lovely hotel and staff were great, particularly those in the restaurant. Didn't get to see much of the grounds as the weather was iffy. The standard rooms are described as 'cosy' by the hotel, and they are - we upgraded to an executive room for an extra £15 - well worth it. Lovely evening menu that was also very affordable and excellently prepared and served. Would stay again.

Everybody at the hotel was lovely and welcoming upon arrival, special thank you to Tom. Clean room, fab view, we had a great time. The only thing I would recommend is improving on the dessert and breakfast menus.

We had a night at this lovely country hotel, the room was nice and clean, we paid the small suppliment and went for the superior room, which was well worth the money. The bar and restaurant were also nicely decorated and furnished and the food and beverages were to a good standard and at reasonable hotel prices. The staff were very friendly from the lady on reception to all the staff behind the bar and in the restaurant for both the evening meal and the following day breakfast. All in all a great stay for the money.

Excellent stay at the Stanton House Hotel for a lovely birthday weekend. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is set in beautiful surroundings and all the facilities were perfect. The room was lovely, had been given an upgrade on check in which we really appreciated. Food and drink also wonderful. Definitely coming back with a few friends next time!

This was our second stay. Although we paid for a deluxe room it was disappointing don’t like having to lay on bed to watch tv. Although there was a chair the tv was on the wall in front of the bed and you could not view it from chair. But other. Than that we enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed the 2 days. Lovely spacious room overlooking the well kept grounds. Enjoyed coffee in the conservatory and patio area. The dinner was of good standard. Breakfast was average. Staff helpful and courteous.

We arrived at the hotel and got booked in, Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. There was no delay and we went straight to our room to drop off our bags. Room was small but adequate with tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant was more like a cafe than restaurant but the meal was ok. Breakfast was very good first day but the day we left the bacon was very hard well cooked inedible. Would go there again as we had an enjoyable time.

This was a Manor House home turned into a hotel, set in a beautiful location with fabulous views and grounds. You can see the architecture and quality of the decor and layout with oak staircases and many quirky rooms to facilitate all sizes of parties. Upon arrival, everything was ready for us, we had a nice friendly smile and welcome by Yasmin who was really helpful and attentive at check in, she took time explaining the facilities and the details of our booking, all the staff we met were friendly. The room was an executive double which was a large room complete with coffee table, chesterfield sofa, ample wardrobe space and en-suite, nicely prepared and very clean and comfortable. The room was refreshed and tended each day. Breakfast included was a continental breakfast but for only £5 each per day you had a choice including hot full English etc. It has a couple of bars, one in a large orangery/conservatory and one on the dining area. The choice of evening dining was a decent menu at sensible prices. Free Parking. The hotel is restablishing itself after being taken over a few years ago now, it's undergoing the treatment the property deserves to bring its stately pride back up to scratch, it's a pretty place with an interesting history and with the right TLC it will get back to its former glory. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go again, great value for money.

Lovely place ,welcoming staff,nice room although no outward looking view although we kind of expected that as it was a Wowcher deal . Only three staff on in the evening and an at breakfast which caused some delays as they were also dealing with drinks etc also. Food expensive for what it was steak meal rib eye 1/2 mushroom 1/2 tomato and some chips had to pay extra for sauce mine was supposed to be blue cheese although you would not No it ,anything extra was )2:50 Or £3:50 sorry after I ate it it was perfectly fine but not special so I think the prices were not worth that

Incredible food at the restaurant and staff were lovely. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The room was quite small but only stayed overnight so wasn't too bothered. Beautiful grounds, lovely to go for a walk around. Saw a deer nosing around in the field which was exciting. Not too far distance to drive into the Cotswolds.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff just one receptionist had no idea of what she was doing with our booking and the activities around but they have a lot of information around the hotel. The late check out is at 1pm -you need to let them know you want it at reception that gives you time to walk around and come back to get change. The breakfast is continental unless you pay £5 for upgrade, great communication before arrival just not very efficient when you travel with kids. Good food

Disappointed by hotel. Room very dated and not as I expected despite paying £15 to upgrade. At breakfast they couldn't find us so we had to wait for ages while they tried to find out booking despite us eating in the restaurant the night before. The food was good and very big portions no complaints about that! Just not what I woukd expect foe a 4 star unfortunately .

We upgraded to an executive room on arrival but it was so bad we complained on checking out and the upgrade charge was refunded. The room was dirty, extremely dated and in our opinion shouldn't be used for guest occupation. We take leisure breaks regularly and this hotel was the worst we have stayed in with a need for serious investment. The only redeeming factor was the food, hence the reason for the 2 stars. The service was also extremely hit & miss

Appalling customer service, was told to check out at 10.00 am, no water in the room,rude front of house staff. Room was barely big enough to get round without bumping into each other,tatty bed,lumpy matress, bed definitely not a double more a small three quarter. Mouldy window frames, overgrown bushes and weeds outside the window,making it very dark. Appaling breakfast service, no staff,not enough food items to go round the humongous gathering of people, no tables. What more can I say,don't bother. Book into a Premier Inn,its,better,cheaper,cleaner and the staff are welcoming.

The food took so long to come and it took 30 minutes for us to even order a drink before even ordering our food- the food was really nice which was a relief- the room was incredibly small and really light at night/ The Reception staff were lovely however.
