Great Family hotel Really good experience, Marcel from reception took great care of us during check in , helping us all have rooms together. Wifi was excellent, breakfast was good, loved the pizzas. Great facilties.

Perfect Second trip to Explorers over and I’ve had zero issues. Both myself and my daughter really enjoyed our stay and my daughter is devastated to be leaving . Yes the hotel can be busy and staff very overwhelmed but all are very friendly, big shout out to the staff at the Captains Library who presented my daughter with a cake and sang happy birthday, really made her Birthday special. If you are wanting a relaxing stay I wouldn’t recommend Explorers but if you’re looking a hotel to keep young kids occupied then Explorers is perfect, with a swimming pool, Arcade, soft play and outdoor playground. No issues with cleanliness, room good standard. Definitely recommend.

Great stay at the Explorers Stayed in January. Quick check in and straight to a lovely and clean room. Coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Also requested a fridge which was in the room on arrival. Toilietries and fluffy towels in the bathroom. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool (open till 11pm) and a great play area. We had the pizzas from the hotel which wasnt too expensive. Cocktails are expensive at the bar. The continental breakfast is good with cereals, jams, toast, croissants, chocolate, fruit, meats and cheese. A range of hot drinks and fruit juices available with breakfast also. Also ordered uber eats to the hotel with drinks and snacks as the hotel can be expensive for drinks. Already booked to return next year!
