This Wood Stain & Protector offers premium protection for wooden gazebos, pavilions, and pergolas. This water-based formula provides a durable, weatherproof coating that resists algae, fungi, cracks, and splinters. Safe for children, pets, and plants, it dries quickly and contains no harmful chemicals. With long-lasting colour and superior water repellency, it protects outdoor timber for up to five years.

Directions to use this product and tips

• Ensure the wood is clean and dry before application. Lightly sand if needed and clean weathered wood with water, detergent, and a stiff brush. No primer is needed unless applied to bare wood.
• Stir well and apply using a brush, sponge, roller, or low-pressure spray gun. Allow 2 to 4 hours of drying time between coats. Avoid applying in temperatures below 5°C or before wet weather.
• 1 litre covers approximately 8-12m² area, offering up to twice the coverage of spirit-based products. Safe for children, pets, and plants. Apply two coats for the best protection and durability.
• Touch dry within 2 hours, depending on humidity and drying conditions. Each additional coat enhances the colour and sheen.
• Wash brushes, rollers, and sprayers with warm water and detergent immediately after use. Avoid letting the product dry on tools or in sprayers.

What safety precautions should be taken when using this product?

Keep out of reach of children and animals and ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Wear protective clothing, including coveralls and synthetic rubber/PVC gloves. Keep unprotected persons and pets away until the surface is dry. Avoid contact with skin and eyes - rinse immediately with plenty of water if contact occurs and seek medical advice if needed. Wash splashes off the skin with water and detergent, and always wash hands before meals and after use. Do not ingest it, as it may be harmful if swallowed.
