Ingredients

• 2 oz Blackland Pecan Brown Sugar Bourbon
• 1/4 oz maple syrup (or brown sugar syrup)
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• Ice (large cubes work best)
• Orange peel (for garnish)
• Crushed pecans (optional, for rim garnish)

If desired, lightly rim a rocks glass with maple syrup and dip into crushed pecans for a festive touch. In a mixing glass, combine the bourbon, maple syrup, and bitters. Add ice and stir for about 20 seconds until chilled. Strain into the prepared rocks glass over a large ice cube.
